Saint-Gobain group through its group company Grindwell Norton Limited has established INDEC - an International Delivery Center in Mumbai to provide IT solutions and services to the groups’ businesses Globally.

INDEC is currently organized into INDEC Application Development, INDEC Infrastructure Management and Cyber Security Management. While INDEC Apps specializes in Software application development and maintenance services (ADM), INDEC Infra specializes in monitoring and managing the key IT infrastructure assets of the group deployed globally across 70 countries worldwide. INDEC provides IT Services and Solutions to the Saint-Gobain group through its state-of-the-art delivery centers based at Andheri – East in Mumbai. There are approximately 1200+ associates working in INDEC currently. INDEC Apps provides software application development and maintenance services across a wide spectrum covering SAP, Java, PHP, .Net, CRM, Mobility, Digital, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Robotic Automation. INDEC Infra on the other hand operates the following service lines: Network Coordination Center (NCC/NOC), Data Center Infrastructure Support, IT Standards, Tools Engineering and Reporting Automation. INDEC Cybersecurity provides 24/7 Security monitoring to detect & react on any suspicious activity in Saint- Gobain. It provides services on vulnerability scanning, web application firewall, endpoint protection, strong authentication, digital certificate, Win 10 MBAM and SFTS support.

Technical Strategy & Leadership

• Lead the technical strategy and roadmap across the Salesforce organizations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Serve as the key point of contact for technical issues, collaborating with the Release Manager to ensure smooth deployments and minimize risks.
• Analyze user stories and define scalable, secure technical solutions to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with developers to estimate user stories and ensure accurate time tracking for each task.
• Provide technical assistance and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them through complex technical challenges.
• Ensure consistent, scalable, and secure architectures across all Salesforce organizations.
• Drive the adoption of best practices, design patterns, and Salesforce development standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Architect to align architectural goals with business needs and technical strategy.
• Review and refine technical documents to ensure clarity and alignment with system designs and requirements.

Architecture & Design Oversight

• Ensure consistent, scalable, and secure architectures across all Salesforce organizations.
• Drive the adoption of best practices, design patterns, and Salesforce development standards.
• Collaborate closely with the Architect to align architectural goals with business needs and technical strategy.
• Review and refine technical documents to ensure clarity and alignment with system designs and requirements. 

Team Management & Development

• Manage and mentor development teams, ensuring technical growth and skill development.
• Foster collaboration across technical teams, promoting innovation and knowledge sharing.
• Work with the team to identify skills gaps and recommend appropriate training or hiring initiatives.
• Collaborate with CSM, Functional Leads, and Scrum Masters to ensure smooth execution of projects and manage cross-team dependencies.
• Raise tickets to Salesforce

Quality Control & Best Practices

• Lead regular code reviews to maintain high-quality development standards across the Salesforce orgs.
• Ensure strong coding standards, version control, and CI/CD pipelines are followed by all team members.
• Establish robust testing strategies to ensure defect-free releases.
• Review technical documentation after each release, ensuring it accurately reflects system updates and solutions.
• Review the Salesforce release note and summarize it.
• Risk Management & Continuous Improvement
• Identify and mitigate technical risks that could impact project timelines or system stability.
• Stay updated with Salesforce innovations, recommending new tools or practices to improve performance and reduce technical debt.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning, improvement, and technical excellence within the development teams
