Position Overview

As the Head - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at KnowDis, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the company's data and artificial intelligence strategy. You will be responsible for leading a talented team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts to develop and implement innovative AI/ ML solutions that address the unique challenges of our clients. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of AI/ ML technologies, along with the ability to translate these capabilities into practical, business-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

   • Develop and implement a comprehensive data and AI strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
   • Provide strategic guidance to the executive team on leveraging AI/ ML for competitive advantage.

2. Team Management:

   • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and data analysts.
   • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team.

3. Technology Architecture:

   • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable and robust AI / ML architectures.
   • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and recommend investments to keep KnowDis at the forefront of innovation.

4. Solution Development:

   • Collaborate with product development teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing and new products.
   • Drive the development of advanced analytics and machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
   • Architect, optimize, and validate high-performing AI solutions, guaranteeing they meet both business needs and technical standards.
   • Champion a culture of continuous learning and development, mentoring and coaching the team to excel in advanced AI methodologies.

5. Data Governance:

   • Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the integrity, security, and privacy of the company's data assets.
   • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure alignment with relevant regulations.

6. Collaboration:

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer success, to understand client needs and deliver tailored data and AI / ML solutions.
   • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a leadership role within a data and AI-focused organization.
• Strong understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and other AI technologies.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing data and AI strategies that drive business outcomes.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy best practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Education and Experience:

• Advanced degree in computer science, data science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in data and AI leadership roles and overall experience of 8 - 20 years.
• Proven track record of delivering successful AI / ML solutions in a business context.
