Revitalising a team has a lot less to do with changing the people and lot more to do with changing the context!

Individuals do not change fundamentally from who they are! in order to revitalise them, leaders change the context or the environment that they operate in! Late Prof. Sumantra Ghoshal, calls it ‘The Smell of the place’! He petitions that in order to revitalise teams leaders should change the smell of the place! Stop focusing on: - Constraints - Compliance - Control - Contract Instead focus on creating an environment of: - Stretch - Decipline - Trust - Support That’s what will revitalise teams!
